The year was 2011, and I was a struggling writer trying to eke out a living writing porn movies.

It wasn't easy. Low budgets and the shifting of America's conscience under President Falwell made things pretty tough.

If a script called for a certain scene to take place in the future, they'd simply wrap objects in aluminum foil and call them "Space Age."

It really pulled the reins on a creative guy like me. But, overall, things hadn't changed much over the last 40 years or so.
